A Lovely Afternoon at the Ladies Tea
Some of our wonderful ladies from Genesis Village recently had the pleasure of attending the Ladies Tea at St. Patrick of Heatherdowns.
They dressed for the occasion in beautiful hats and enjoyed a lovely afternoon of lunch, tea, conversation, and community. Events like this are such a special reminder of how important it is to stay connected, enjoy new experiences, and make memories together.

Devoted Health Medicare Advantage Presentation
We were also thankful to welcome our partners from Devoted Health for an informative presentation at Genesis Village.
Navigating Medicare Advantage plans and senior benefits can feel overwhelming, but the Devoted Health team helped break down important information in a simple and helpful way. Residents had the opportunity to learn about additional benefits available to seniors and ask great questions in a relaxed setting.

Greeting Card Class
Creativity was in full bloom during a special Birthday Greeting Card Class led by one of our very own talented residents.
Residents started with blank cardstock and learned how to create beautiful handmade birthday cards from scratch. Each card had its own personality, and it was wonderful to see everyone’s unique style shine through.
There is something extra meaningful about receiving a handmade card. We are so thankful to our resident instructor for sharing her time, creativity, and talents with the Genesis Village community.
Celebrating 4,000 Facebook Followers
We recently reached 4,000 followers on Facebook, and of course, we had to celebrate with donuts!
Residents and staff enjoyed a donut break in honor of this exciting milestone. We “donut” know what we would do without the encouragement, comments, likes, shares, and support from our extended Genesis Village family.

Root Beer Floats
Residents also enjoyed a fun and nostalgic Root Beer Float Social in our coffee shop. It was a simple but sweet way to bring everyone together for conversation, laughter, and a classic treat. Residents had the chance to catch up with friends, relax, and enjoy one of those timeless favorites that brings back great memories.
