On Saturday, Genesis Village transformed into a vibrant Derby-themed celebration as residents and staff gathered for a spirited afternoon of fun, fashion, and friendly competition! The annual Kentucky Derby Watch Party brought the community together to enjoy one of the most iconic horse races of the year—complete with themed décor, refreshments, and classic Derby flair.

Residents had the chance to snap photos at a themed photo booth stocked with props—fancy hats, horse masks, and oversized sunglasses. The snapshots will be added to our community gallery, bringing smiles for weeks to come.

As the race began, excitement filled the air! Residents used printed racing forms to choose their winning horses. Cheers and groans echoed throughout the room as the Kentucky Derby unfolded on the big screen.
