Fall Crafts Bring Color and Personality to Our Community
Our residents welcomed the season with an afternoon of crafting fall door decorations. With laughter, conversation, and plenty of individual creativity, everyone added a personal touch to their designs.
Now, autumn wreaths, festive signs, and seasonal colors brighten our hallways and apartment doors. Each decoration reflects the personality of the neighbor who created it, making a walk through Genesis Village even more welcoming.

Live Well: A Lunch & Learn Focused on Everyday Wellness
Our Live Well: Lunch & Learn brought together a large gathering of Genesis Village residents and guests from the surrounding community for an afternoon of learning and connection.
Speakers Dr. Murthy Gokula, Rachel Wixey, and Shauna Gilsdorf shared perspectives on meditation, yoga, nutrition, daily eating habits, and healthy lifestyle choices. The event gave attendees an opportunity to explore wellness topics and leave with new ideas to consider in their everyday routines.

Toledo Humane Society Craft Show Brings Handmade Treasures
We were delighted to welcome the Toledo Humane Society to Genesis Village for a mini craft show featuring unique items handmade by talented THS crafters.
Residents and staff enjoyed browsing cozy blankets, handmade jewelry, Christmas decorations, festive ornaments, and other creative treasures. With cooler weather and the holiday season approaching, there were plenty of reasons to pick up something special for home or find a thoughtful gift.
Even better, the event offered an opportunity to support a cause that helps animals in need throughout the Toledo area. Thank you to the Toledo Humane Society and its crafters for bringing creativity, joy, and a little early holiday cheer to our community!
