There’s nothing quite like the holiday season at Genesis Village—and this year, our community has been buzzing with even more joy, generosity, and festive fun! From charitable giving to creative workshops to decking the halls of all 16 of our beautifully decorated community trees (including our famous Elvis Tree!), residents have been embracing the spirit of the season in the warm, family-like way that makes life here so special.
Giving Back: Our Toys for Tots Bins Were Filled to the Brim 🎁
One of our favorite annual traditions is supporting Toys for Tots, and our residents went above and beyond this year. Thanks to their incredible generosity, both of our collection bins were overflowing with new toys for children in need.
Acts of kindness like this are what make the Genesis Village community so extraordinary—neighbors coming together to bring joy to families across Northwest Ohio.

Our Life Enrichment team filled December with festive hands-on workshops to bring out everyone’s inner artist! Residents enjoyed:

Decking the Halls: 16 Trees… and Yes, Elvis Is in the Building 🎤
You know it’s officially the holidays at Genesis Village when our community trees go up—all sixteen of them!
This year’s decorating party was bigger than ever, with residents helping fluff branches, hang ornaments, and decide themes. Of course, the star of the show remains our iconic Elvis Tree, complete with blue suede touches and rock-and-roll flair. It draws smiles every single day!
Walking through the atrium and hallways feels like stepping into a festive winter wonderland—made even more special because so much of the décor was created or placed by the residents themselves.
